I agree. And let's be real, if he want Jon to sing songs nearly flawless we are going to eliminate a ton of songs in their catalog. Jon now admits to "what the hell was I thinking" writing the songs in the key he did but, if he doesn't attempt some of them then for sure on this very forum he'll be tagged as lazy and doesn't give a shit right???

I meant to periodically note how many people were tuning into the live stream. Did anyone catch the numbers or have they been posted? Not very many people were watching the Backstage lyric videos in the glimpses I saw.

Also, do other acts do similar live concert streams? Who pays for them and what is the purpose--to sell the new cd, to garner fans or to thank their fan base?

Yea with this band, it's been that way for most of their tours, sans, the ones they didn't really headline. But I still tend to want to go to the first couple of shows and do of a new tour just because even though I know I'll get rust, I want to see what the initial set lists look like as I know things will change and certain songs disappear, but I also know to buy the cheaper seats, lol!!

Me too, and yes if he sings always every time he will get better at it. I didn't think it sounded bad he was just spent.

I thoroughly enjoyed the live stream last night and thought the setlist was fine. Even "Work for the Working Man" felt right, especially with Jon's explanation before he started it. Add in the lack of Captain Crash and the encore with Always and I would have been thrilled to be there.

So good - and the perfect example of how good they can be when they play the shit out of one of their best songs. *sigh*

Just finished watching the stream, Bobby's outro solo on TWTWMM just proved me that you actually can hold a note on guitar for 2 minutes.

Bobby is like a cancer growing inside Bon jovi's guitar work.
