Default H.e.a.t

Thanks to a couple of members on here discussing who should support Bon Jovi in the upcoming tour, the band H.E.A.T were mentioned. I had never heard of them before so went on iTunes and previewed a few tracks. From what I heard I was blown away by them. Since only discovering them last week i have since ordered all there albums ( only 3 of them) and bought tickets to there show in London.

Not sure how to describe them. It basically sounds like 80's power rock. All the best early Bon Jovi stuff is similar to the sound of H.E.A.T.

What I like is the band are all aged between 20-30 and are really bringing 80's rock back. It's just riff after riff. Melodic rock. Anthemic choruses (is that even a word?)

The newest album is Address The Nation and is all filler and no killer!!! Read reviews on amazon.

Really really recommend people check them out. They have been around since 2009 and are from Sweden. But you wouldnt know that listening to them. The lead singer is Erik Gronwell he won Sweden idol I think in 2009. But they are pure class. They seem to be biggish in Sweden but are hardly known it would seem else where. The concert I'm going to is at a 275 capacity venue and tickets are £9.50 each or something mental including fees. But really hope they make it big. They seem to be playing everywhere and everything in the hope they make it similar to Jovi in 1983.

Thanks to whoever it was who mentioned them in the support bon jovi 2013 thread.

Here is a link to a you tube video for the song " living on the run"
Be interested to hear if you have heard of them and what you think of them.

Rich

Love em,and surprised groups like them dont get more mention on JT. Only heard Livin on the Run on YT and downloaded the album straight away and as you say not a filler on the album. Going to see them in Nottingham in April 2013 for the massive amount of £3!!!
You should really have a listen to Vega and Eclipse (both mentioned in the support thread) as theyre really carrying the flag for melodic rock.

If these dont make you press repeat, nowt will,Eclipse:Falling Down

Vega: one of a kind

Sambos apprentice. Thanks so much I'm sure it was you who mentioned h.e.a.t. In the first place. I'm seeing them at borderline London and its £9.00 something a ticket incl fee. How can it be so cheap!!

I will check out the other bands you mentioned.

I thought I would try and spread the word on h.e.a.t as I'm sure they would appreciate it and not sure why any Jovi fan would not like it.

The band started out in 2007, but their singer jumped ship in 2009 and then Erik came onboard.....

I love H.E.A.T! Or at least I did until Kenny was replaced with Erik. Kenny's voice is amazing.
