BrowardPalmBeach.com: According to police reports, cops were called to the Four Seasons Hotel in Palm Beach (Florida USA)...about a suspicious black Mercedes. They searched it and found cocaine in a purse on the seat and in a sunglass case...(Another) purse...contained $1,000 and six condoms..."indicative of someone committing or attempting to commit prostitution." (The driver)...first said it belonged to two women he'd dropped at the hotel...(He) was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to sell...

Cops went to the hotel room and encountered nine people...(including) country music star Zac Brown...One of them...admitted to having cocaine...(Another) was determined to be the owner of the purse and sunglass case that had been in the car, and she was charged with possession of cocaine...(A third person) turned over his backpack (and) was arrested for possession of marijuana and paraphernalia...

TMZ: We've learned not only was Zac in the room, but the cops who made the bust were big, big fans. Our sources say several cops on scene asked for his autograph, and the officers who took one of the strippers to the station mocked her for not knowing Zac was a big country star.

Our sources say Zac asked the cops to keep him out of the police report because he had a wife and kids. It seems the police did everything in their power to facilitate that...

TMZ: The bust went down last Friday at around 5:30 AM...Our sources say Zac was in the room and questioned by police. We're also told he was in possession of prescription pills, and cops asked him to send them proof it was a legitimate doctor's Rx.

...(W)e have called the Palm Beach PD numerous times...and all they would say is that he wasn't mentioned in the police report...(T)here were 9 people in the room...3 men and 5 women...so who was the missing person?...Now it appears Zac's name was on one of the documents, yet they told us repeatedly Zac was not mentioned in any portion of the police report...

The "driver" was most likely a pimp with drug-dealer benefits. The "suspicious activity" was most likely the fact that he never got out of the car. And the "women" who he "dropped off" were most likely his prostitutes -- especially since it's not unusual for pimps to keep their purses and IDs while they're "on duty."

As for Zac, he has finally decided to take command of the situation and stepped forward to speak for himself:



Well, that explains everything -- EXCEPT that: 1) only certain kinds of "private gatherings" begin at 5:30 AM, and 2) in America, it's illegal to be in possession of prescription drugs without also being in possession of the prescription. Presumably Zac or his doctor sent a copy of the prescription to the police and cleared out his "role in the investigation" that way -- but Zac should have been ticketed at the very least, and it most certainly should have been documented in the police report. By the way, if Zac didn't know anyone in the room other than the person who invited him, how did he KNOW who showed up when?

Let's leave it up to Zac's wife and (five) kids to sort out the rest...
