I thought this release was the 4 old live versions from the New Jersey tour on Vinyl...

Who plays vinyl? You buy vinyl, leave it in it's original wrapping and let it collect dust until it becomes valuable so you can sell it in your old age.

I just don't get, of all things to release, why this?

At least put a rarity on as an actual real b-side.

Who makes these decisions. I doubt they'll sell 100 copies of this thing.
