The stage is pretty high up and you will only be able to see Jon from the front of the pit.

My show was in Europe so maybe it's a whole different thing. The stage is pretty high, but not too far from the front row. I don't think you expect to be able to touch hands or stuff like that, of course.
It's so high you can only see half Jon, half Phil X and Hugh's head every once in a while. Forget about David, Tico or any of the screens except those at the sides of the stage and the "headlights" of the car.
Sound quality positively surprised me, though of course you can't expect perfection from there. I love hearing the delayed roar of the crowd.
All in all I would say it's worth it, but it really depends on your needs, priorities and the way you like to experience a concert (including pre-concert and post-concert time).

While front row in an arena is quite a bit lower than a stadium you still won't see T or David or Hugh.

Are there Philly dates? I have been watching for them but have not seen them on the official site.

thanks for all the info. I think i would be better off with seats near the other stage. But I've read on backstage with jbj forums tha jon hasn't been going out there so much. So I don't know if I should get seats near there. I haven't seen Phlly date up either. I hope they're still coming there. Theyre doing some concert but it's for some building project.
