Not sure how reliable the website is, but it certainly sounds like he's gone for good!

He's not gone until they BOTH say he's gone -- and in an official manner, not as cocktail party chitchat to a minor-league online gossip columnist. Besides, maybe Jon's really the one who wants to escape his "life sentence" from the band.

Well said Jon. “He quit. He’s gone. No hard feelings. Being in a band isn’t a life sentence.”

If he can take it in his stride then the multitude of butt hurt Richie haters on here can too.

THANK YOU. Now can we move on? I look forward to whatever Jon, Tico, and Dave have to offer in the future, if anything.

When a band loses 1 member it can carry on. When 2 or 3 go it becomes a joke.
Bon jovi are finished. It was a great run but that's it. It's over.
Let's all move on

Whatever. They'll both learn the hard way. Nobody gives a toss about Richie outside of Bon Jovi, and Bon Jovi won't be taken seriously (even by many of the fans) without Richie. There are 2 irreplaceable members of this band. Period.

He's the boss. If he says Richie is gone, then Richie is gone.

Goodbye Bon Jovi. Thanks for the memories.
