He's not the new permanent lead guitarist. He's not.

So then Bon Jovi retires after this shit tour? Because I see no indication that Richie is coming back, ever.

I'll be in Vegas as well......but whoever wants to "punch" Richie (actually I'd slap Nikki) knows where to go.

There's the black and the white but there's the grey. They tough it out with Bobby, they get another temp guitarist. Phil is too desired a session guitarist for him to give it up for the band. I'm not convinced he's officially the band guitarist because Bergman is selling a photo of him.

I was half kidding. I wasn't truly implying that it was some hidden clue of the future of the band. Just noting that an official band picture of him solo surely indicates he's more than just some fill in temp. The temp drummer isn't even shown on screens at the live shows. Phil is in an official Bon Jovi picture for profit.

You honestly think he makes more money as a session musician than touring with, or becoming the band's new guitarist on future albums? If it was offered to him, I think he'd take it in a second.

That picture is awesome, of course they would want to feature it , but I don't think it means anything other than he's now part of the Bon Jovi inner circle in much the same way that Bobby is, he's earned his stripes and the loyalty of the band....
As much as I love Phil, I'm excited to see where he'll take the Drills next musically, not Bon Jovi. Their last album was very Stone Temple Pilots in some parts. With the band I think if Richie gets his act together and Jon his ego in check, they could get some great energy out of all this shitstorm....

But keep in mind that the photographer is down to having to alternate between two original members -- he's just plan running out of material, LOL!

Aw come on. Bobby played on DA and has been touring with the band since 2005. Phil has bailed Jon out twice but he hasn't earned the loyalty that Bobby has. Bobby sucks, but he's been involved with Jon and the band a long time.
