I just can't anymore. WHAT THE FUCH HAPPENED TO THIS BAND!!!!!
Completely and utterly disagree. Her voice suits the music she does perfectly and her voice was top notch all night.

Loved every second of it and am probably more excited now about the Sambora/Orianthi album than what I have been for any record in a long time.
I know I said it before but I do hate you!!!
So you survived this rock'n'roll sauna?! How was the response to Richie's presence? Lots of rejection and hatred on the FB/Twitter pages but I guess that concert-goers were all too happy to see him guesting on a couple of songs, can you confirm?

Don't know what Twitter/FB pages you've been looking at but I could hazard a 'JBJ fan' guess.
Everything I've heard was very positive and the videos we've seen were great.

No, I'm not a big fan of FB and Twitter myself actually (I have no account), I've only been checking Richie's and Ori's pages lately because some people here and on YT said they were a good source of information.

No, the hateful comments about Richie come mostly from Ori fans, not JBJ fans. I've noticed a positive change since Richie and Ori have made their relationship official though... or maybe now the admins are deleting the negative messages?

Here's another positive review of the show (the guy got carried away, he's on fire!!!):

Whatever makes Richie happy. But seriously, he looks (and sounds) like granddad trying to keep up (and failing).

Ori just tweeted a cryptic message and a selfie with Richie:
Quote:
Whales tales ... @therealsambora

and a clearer message:
Quote:
Off we go backseat selfie .... We Can't wait to record these tunes @therealsambora
Now waiting for sneak peeks...

This pretty much confirms that Bearden is the producer - an interview at NAMM with him.. The Richie/Ori info is near the end if you don't want to listen to the entire video. Says 6 tracks recorded and just started last week? Wonder if they threw out everything prior and started over since Richie has talked about working on this album and posted so many in the studio pictures way older than last week? Personally I don't think I'll care about this album, just can't get beyond her vocals but thought some of you might want to hear this.

So we have a full band:

Richie Sambora (vocals & guitars)
Orianthi (guitars & vocals)
Michael Bearden (keyboards, Hammond B3)
Darryl Jones (bass)
Will Calhoun (drums & percussion)

Darryl Jones is a member of The Rolling Stones band since 1993.
Will Calhoun is a member of Living Colour.

Now I have no doubt that this record will be something really interesting

On paper, this looks like an amazing band. I won't hold my breath until I see an interview where Richie looks and sounds sober though.
