really nice gesture, as was the lighthouse from richie some months back...
i really liked the song, i ve listened it 3 times already and i found out about it 15 min ago...
i wont rule out jon rewriting the chorus and producing it for the album if he really likes the song...the catch phrase reunion is the one that sounds a bit off to me but really nice song imo

Lyrically it's nothing new under the sun... hey, it even contains the live your life line!

But i kind of like it, the chorus is already stuck in my head. I wouldn't mind a song or two in this vein on the new album.

I think at best the song could be included as a bonus track but as of right now, I doubt the song was even recorded. If it gets positive feedback and praise, he might throw it on the new album but it's not really up to album standards either. It's kinda basic with a Simon and Garfunkel medley mixed with Jon's new Dylan vocal style. So I seriously doubt this will be on any official release.

If the song stays in that room as a one time performance, I'll be happy and I'll take it as a nice little song... I'm glad we all got a soundboard of it. If Jon does anything more with it, I'm going to be completely turned off.

(BTY, man has Jon's voice really changed. Now I'm starting to understand why he keeps Shanks around. Although Shanks needs to find a medium with the production because he does over do it.)
