I hate you! Enjoy the show and please tell us all about it, especially if they play new songs.

How would you translate "quite small" (venue) into figures? In the 500 people attendance range or???

I think it holds 700 people at capacity

OK, really looking forward to reviews on here, seems this is where the show is being talked about but - I saw one say 250 to 300 there, (big Ori fan) another said 200 (not Ori fan) but SplashNews said sold out. I know tickets were on line up until last min. and said at the door as available. The capacity is 700. Serious question for some of you who have been to more shows than I have, --- What is Sold Out? My last "sold out" was McCartney and the only place without a person was screened off behind the stage - they even went back stage side to fit in more people in the coliseum. That is how I think of Sold Out but I guess I'm missing something.

OMG! It's amazing! Michael Bearden really is a multi-talented artist: he can play keyboards, sing, be a musical director, model for hip shades, hand-paint and mime... Peekaboo!
(sorry! couldn't help it!)

golittleperson: sold-out simply means that ALL the tickets were sold before the show begun.
If the capacity of the venue is 700 people but the promoter puts only 600 tickets on sale for whatever reason and the 600 tickets are sold then the show is said to be sold-out.
In some countries there's a law that obliges the venue to sell a certain number of tickets the very day of the show, just a couple of hours before it starts.
Although all the tickets are sold, you can always see empty seats in a venue because there's always a percentage of ticket-holder who don't show up. And sometimes a venue is half empty because of a major bummer like a public transportation strike which makes it impossible for hundreds of people to go to a show. Especially here in Europe where fans are used to follow bands from one country to another and special packages are sold by tour promoters and bus companies.
Did I answer your question?

Now sold-out or not has not influence on the quality of a show anyway so who cares?

Oops! My mistake! This thread is dedicated to Richie & Ori's next album, not their gigs, I/we should have created a separate one. Oh well, never mind! There are so many Richie haters around, we're in a safe zone here, they don't click on this thread because they couldn't care less about this upcoming album...

Here's another YT vid: their famous and beloved "Voodoo Chile", they're really having fun with this number
