Default Vancouver - May 11, 1989

Stumbled upon a review of that gig, and boy I had no clue. Basically, Skid Row, Motley Crue, Jovi and Aerosmith all were on stage that day (not all at the same time).

A few things:
- In 1989 there were only 18,000 people in the arena. In 1987 it had been 22k
- the sound was shit
- 'Particularly impressive was the constant thwack of Tico Torres’ insistent drumming, and Richie Sambora’s feverish guitar bursts'
- Aerosmith joined for Walk this Way (any version of this available anywhere, and was it just Steve and Joe or the whole band?)
-WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE was NOT played! (What the ****??)
- Skid Row described as: "They look and sound the same as a hundred other hard-rock bands today, too many of which copy elements of Motley Crue, Bon Jovi and AC/DC"
- Skid Row did Live Wire with Vince Neil, Nikki Sixx and Mick Mars joining them

Now that must have been quite an oddly awesome show. Bootleg available anywhere?

-The sound was shit in 1987 as well. According to reviews from that era, BJ always overpowered a bit with their volume
-The only available video of Walk This Way is from Milton Keynes '89
-Wanted not being played actually happened twice on the NJ tour - in Brussels '88 they didn't do it either
-Thanks for bringing that review back up - I read it at some point in the past, but that was a long time ago

...and no, there's no bootleg of that show (neither audio nor video)
