Default Positions of songs in setlist ie 'bad name' near the end?

Hi guys

I was wondering...have they ever played bad name late on in a setlist for a proper concert?

It always seems near the start to get to crowd going but I wonder what it would be like later on, maybe 1st encore.

I say this because for me Prayer works much better in an encore, dont know why but I always prefer it,or even last song.

What others song would you like to see early on/late on?

Like i said in a thread in the tour forum, bad name MUST go from the 2nd place slot - its so damn predictable now. Raise your hands, Wild in the streets, Runaway, Bad Medecine, Its my life etc could all fill a similar role of being good fun songs to get a crowd pumped for at the start of a gig.

Prayer and Wanted during the Bounce tour mid-set was a nice change, but such classics deserve to be encore material, its always more atmospheric near the end, especially at outdoor gigs (or, Prayer as an opener still works well i think)

Keep the faith as a closer is still one of the best i think. And when they played Last Man standing in the encore at MK (night 2) it felt right.

I've always thought IML would be a good song to open with - straight in, makes an impact. Bad Name works well as second, but it could work mid-set too, maybe replaced at the start by Raise Your Hands.

Agree about Faith, it's brilliant as the last song.

YGLABN definitely needs to go from the #2 spot. We need a change like maybe RYH as mentioned or Livin' On A Prayer. What about a classic like Runaway or Let It Rock would be a great opener. I still love the opener LYHOM from the New Jersey tour that made an impact. They just need to change it up.

I've always prefered the "classics" to be played at the end when the band and crowd are pumped.

I'm liking the idea of It's My Life as opener...and then either Raise Your Hands or Bad Medicine in at 2nd...

If I have one pet peeve against Bon Jovi, it's the predictability of the set lists. That's what made the last night at Giants last year so amazing.

I have a 9-5 job. I would LOVE to be able to do things in a different order every day. It would make the day go by so much faster and be so much more interesting.

Allthough Bad Name has been in the same spot for ages, for some reason i think its the perfect spot for it!

I think Prayer followed by Bad Name, as done on the Live in London DVD, is the ideal start to a Jovi concert. I know it's become kind of predictable to see YGLABN in second place but, for me, it still works. Further classics like Wanted should definately come later in the night. No need to change imo.

I think Prayer should always be later in the show.
Either ending the set, or in the encore.
Hell, the time I saw it close, it sounded awesome.
