Default Livin on a prayer voted 17th best song of the 80s on the NME

http://www.nme.com/list/100-best-son.../266358/page/9

not bad considering the en-e-my's shit review and poor choice of news.

That's got to be one of the worst "Best of the 80's" lists Ive ever seen.

What is this? There's an American band in the top 5 and The Stone Roses aren't number 1.

When Doves Cry isn't even the best song on that album, let alone Prince's best song over all.

Horrible list.

Seriously, where are The Replacements? Fugazi? Husker Du? and most importantly, The Replacements? Such an underrated band, Westerberg is a genius. Needs moar Holiday in Cambodia and Pixies and Sonic Youth should be higher.

?! Who are these bands, I've never heard of any of them except the Pixies...people who read nme are strange. Mind you, nme itself is shit!

Never heard of The Replacements?

They were a major influence on the Goo Goo Dolls, though not quite as rock oriented.
