Default Lost Highway vs What's Left Of Me

Practically the same song imo. Both have that country vibe with the 'Hey Hey' s thrown in. What's left besides your basic Jovi lyrics.

Which one do you prefer?

Lost Highway any day. I'm no music expert so my adjectives are probably a bit vague but I find LH to sound a lot warmer, less cluttered and more organic in terms of production. I prefer Jon's voice in LH as well.

I think it's more similar to The More Things Change. It's better than that, but Lost Highway beats them both.

Despite the fact I really like the song, I hate the vocals on Whats Left Of Me, the whole sound is quite muddy whilst Lost Highway is pretty clear.

I hate Lost Highway. Besides King of the Mountain (which has some nice guitar work on the other hand) there's no Jovi song I hate more.

What's Left of Me is one of my favourite songs from WAN. I'd never thought in my wildest dreams that there is any similarity with LH. It reminds me more of a 2013-version of Saturday Night than of LH.

What's Left Of Me is a country-ish song, but in terms of melody, chord-progression and overall feel, it's nothing like Lost Highway. They're both in Em resp. G, but so is Rocking In The Free World.

WLOM by a mile, btw.

I love them both. I think they should have released What's Left of Me to country radio. It had a better chance of being played that What About Now did on pop radio.

What's Left of Me. I never enjoyed Lost Highway very much. Sure it's not a bad song, but it ain't one of my favorites either.
And I also think that the lyrics of What's Left of Me are better and have more meaning than the ones on Lost Highway, that or I haven't exactly figured out yet what the lyrics on Lost Highway really mean.

What's Left of Me is a more powerful song, with a more powerful message. It's great fun. Lost Highway is decent, but that 'hey, hey' intro pisses me off so much. It's got a cool bridge though.
