Wow... good interview. With Jon somewhat opening up about how deeply Richie's leaving hurt him, I wonder if Richie will reach out to him? If he does, I hope he does it privately. It would be very Kardashian if he did it through the press.

Well well, JBJ is human after all. Nice to read something that is not typical BS answers. Perhaps the arrogance in recent years was just a defensive mechanism to cover his insecurities.

I much prefer the down to earth, honest and humble JBJ. He has been absent in recent years, if not decades.

Well, given how Richie has been looking in public lately, I'd say he's the one that need reaching out and getting help.

No mention of his willingness to chuck it all had he succeeded in buying that NFL team? Or calling the band back to work early in order to raise the money? I guess those were the highlights of the past three years!

Believe me - I have had those thoughts. But I have to think that Richie doing what he did really knocked the stuffing out of him. It sure would have done the same to me.

The fact that the press keeps using a) Richie left due to drugs and alcohol and b) Living with a Ghost keeps getting called a ballad. I wish they'd do some damn research.

Jon said that "...we never saw him again. Nobody.”.
Well, I know that Hugh is not officially in the band but to call him a nobody ?
I believe this photo was taken early 2015:
