Sounds like a cool song.

It's mostly exactly the same chorus as Swedish House Mafia's Save the World though, which was a HUGE hit worldwide 2011.

Agree. I'm quite tired of all people trying to find songs that are similar to the new Jovi songs, but this one is just like you said embarassing. It's impossible not to notice. SN/SM was VERY similar to Nickelback, this one is plagiarism in its purest form.

I see the similarities, but I wouldn't really call this a rip-off/plagiarism. The melody is different, the beat is different, hell it's a different genre.

I'd rather picture Jon heard that somewhere, liked the melody, and had it stuck in his head while writing, so something similar came out of it.

I think the chorus SNGMSM is more similar to Nickelback's than the one of TBTN to this...
