Default Hope Concert

I'll sum it up quick. He did 3 songs. Who says, I wish everyday, and The letter. ...

He actually sounded pretty darn good and the KOS band has gotten much better..

With that said, I was totally disappointed. Jon was out there for a total of 11 minutes. He showed up and left. After 3 hours last week and only 3 songs this show was a kick in the balls.

He also looked like shit. Too skinny and that grey hair needs to go. It's obvious that he's not that rock guy anymore.

I have some vids. If no one else posts them by tomorrow, I'll post mine.

I wish everyday was the highlight. Jon really did an amazing job considering

Thanks for the review and Becky thanks for the link to the article. John Cafferty would have been cool to see. I had to miss the show due to work obligations!!

I don't know folks. After last night, it might be time to take a temporary hiatus for a little while. I'm really not digging Jon and Richie as solo artists. These aren't the guys I grew up with.

Jon can't pull off a decent cover anymore. American Girl, Superstition, Under Pressure, all sound the same. His stage presence is off. Even though the Vegas thing wasn't horrible, it's not what I'm looking for to satisfy me musically.... And I have absolutely zero interest in Richie and his Girlfriend. The both of them are just pissing me off.

I was really pissed off last night. Jon opens the show with Who Says, then does his Christmas tune, and finally ends it with The Letter as a tribute to Joe Cocker. Tickets weren't selling until they announced that Jon was going to be there. There was a time when he would have stuck around for a little while and jammed with other artists. They used Jon's name to sell tickets and then he pulls out after 15 minutes. How can they have Jon open and then have local talentless nothings takeover after that? BS

At this point there is nothing left to say. I'm done exhausting energy and time on this band when I know it's never going to go back to the good old days. Of course I'll check out the new albums but it's time for a Bon Jovi break for the New Year....

Thats all

Yeah, charity shows are the worst.

Oh Yeah, cause donating 500 dollars to charity to see amateurs perform is a common occurrence.

Is that played in its original key? There's also bits when Jon sounds younger than expected.
