Default Jon & KoS in Vegas, 2014/12/09

Is there really no thread about this yet? At least I couldn't find any, that's why I started this one. If there is, sorry

Only thing I found is a couple of pics on the Runaway Tours FB page:

https://www.facebook.com/runawaytours

They stated that the setlist is an amazing 2 pages. I guess a couple of christmas songs as well. Maybe a better version of Happy Xmas/War Is Over?

No videos on YouTube yet, but I guess some will surface during the next couple of days.

I did see a few posts on Fb from those that attended of the set list and that there were 30+ songs done with Christmas songs such as: Run Run Rudolph, I Wish Everday Could Be Like Christmas and Please Come Home For Christmas. I also noticed Back In Black on the set list which I'm assuming was done by Phil X since he was there as well.

I saw a choppy list but I don't know how accurarte it is.

It looked cool and had Superstition by Stevie Wonder on it.

Sounds like a big party gig! There's nothing really special about it but that's really not what the shows with Jon, Phil and the KOS are about. It's still pretty amazing how some people will pay so much for THAT!!

On a side note, does anyone else picture Jon listening to the oldies station with a pen and paper making notes of the covers for the KOS set lists?? lol

It was one of my favorite shows. Jon was very relaxed (in fact so relaxed he wore his t-shirt inside out), lol. It was a nice blend of Bon Jovi songs and covers. The venue (Brooklyn Bowl) was fantastic and there wasn't a bad seat in the house. In fact I was closer to Jon than when I've had front row seats in an arena.

Phil X was there, and he sang Back in Black, complete with head banging. Bobby was totally gray, rockin' a beard, and he looked like Santa. In fact, there was a Santa at the photo op and you had your option of him in the pic with Jon. Like hell no!

Jon ended with American Pie, and I have it on iPhone video. I'll see if I can upload it somewhere and post a link. It was a very enjoyable show.
