Default Bon Jovi - Crossroads (Deluxe Sound & Vision)

Just wanted to know if the songs on this 2 Disc set are studio versions or live versions and anyone who has got it is it worth getting?

I received my copy of this today, and it's a nicely presented box. Unfortunately I personally have all the tracks included, but it's nice if you're a collector like myself.

Disc 1 is the full 'Crossroad' album.

Disc 2 is as follows (in the UK, anyway):
1) "The Radio Saved My Life Tonight" (as per '100 000 000...' box set)
2) " Wild In The Streets" (as per 'Slippery...')
3) "Diamond Ring" (as per 'These Days')
4) "Good Guys Don't Always Wear White" (as per '100 000 000...' box set and 'Someday...' B-side)
5) "The Boys Are Back In Town" (Supposedly live, but I don;t think so, see below. As per Navy Seals soundtrack and some other B-Side)
6) "Edge Of A Broken Heart" (as per '100 000 000...' box set and 'Always' b-side)
7) "Postcards From The Wasteland" (Demo) (as per 'All About Lovin'...' (?) b-side)
"Blood On Blood" (Live) (as per japanese 'Living In Sin' B-side)
9) "Let It Rock" (as per 'Slippery...')
10) "Starting All Over Again" (Japan Bonus Track) (As per '100 000 000...' box set, not the same as original japanese bonus track or b-side)
11) "Blood Money" (though not stated as such, is in fact the live version as featured as 'Dry County' b-side)
12) "Save A Prayer" (as per 'Keep The Faith' bonus track)
13) "Lucky" (as per 'Everyday' b-side)
14) "Why Aren't You Dead?" (as per '100 000 000...' box set)
15) "Raise Your Hands" (as per 'Slippery...')

Disc 3 is the 'Live In London' DVD as previously released.

One query though: It has "The Boys Are Back In Town" (live) on disc 2. I already have this exact track, though at no point has it ever been described as live before, and certainly doesn't sound live. Does anyone know if this is a typo in the box set, or is it in fact live? If so, where was it recorded and when?

Many thanks

Andy

Definately not live, if it's the same as on the Navy seals ost, or Make A Difference cd. It's a studio recording from 88/89 produced by bruce fairbairn at little mountain iirc.

I remember it being described as 'live favourite' when it appeared on the blue vinyl of 'Always' so maybe that's where the confusion/error comes from.

I ordered mine but it hasn't come in yet. It's an import in this country.

Hey Andy
the list of the new crossroads- are you saying that some songs on the second cd- are not the ones on the boxset- and are versions that were released on differrent b-sides?

Some of the tracks on CD2 were featured on the "100 000 000..." box set, and were also featured as Bsides previous to that. Some were featured on the "100 000 000..." box set, but as different versions to what had previously been released as bsides. Those are described as such in the post.

Not sure how better to explain.

Sorry

All the best

Andy

I might consider buying this purely because my Cross Road CD is not a remastered edition (it has Prayer 94 on it) and I don't have some of the track on Disk 2 either. (Well not legitimately anyway)

I though including the Live From London DVD was a dumb idea when they could have included a DVD version of the Cross Road video instead. I would have bought it just for the DVD alone then.

They could have also included another thing.

I've just recevied it. It looks super! It's a little boxset, The box is oppening just like in "100 Million Fans..." and it is in a sleeve. Worth it!

I've read on BonJovi.com and online stores like Amazon.com and Play.com and it appears that Lay Your Hands On Me is missing from the Live From London DVD. Is this true?
