I think this pretty much sums up most peoples opinions.

"These New Jerseyites have reached the time in their career where they can pretty much guarantee that anything which they release will go into the Top 10 of most of the world's pop charts.

Sadly this means they 'can' get away with releasing average singles, which is presumably why they've issued Misunderstood, one of the weakest tracks from their surprisingly top notch Bounce album. That isn't to say the track doesn't have its charm. For one thing, it's rather good to hear Richie Sanbora strumming a semi-acoustic guitar, instead of riffing away on an electric. As for Jon Bon Jovi (and his big hair), well, he's obviously been listening to folk-based rockers like Idlewild and The Calling of late, as Misunderstood rambles along melodically without ever really going anywhere.

It's pleasant enough but a far cry from Bon Jovi's best work".

I don't undersrand why people dislike it so much. It's one of my favourite tracks on the album, and far better than the nauseating All About Loving Me, and other singles that have been released like Thank You For Loving Me, and Say it Isn't So!

I have to admit Im not a fan of misunderstood!. I like it but it isn't one of the best ones they have done.

People here are just dying for Undivided and Bounce to become singles. I think people are thinking of only what 'they' as Bon Jovi fans will like.. Match some songs on Bounce with Misunderstood and it'll be bigger. Misunderstood is more of a song that people can sing along to and just love...............

I think it's perfect as the second single. It may not be the heaviest, but wouldn't it be lame to put out all the heavy songs...? That'd be it? Ehhh.. Whatever.

I like Misunderstood, but I don't think it should be a single, but hey, that's just my humble opinion.

What bugs me about this review is that they called Bounce "surprisingly top notch" (I guess they were expecting it to suck???) and they can't seem to get off the subject of Jon's hair. Maybe whoever wrote this should take a look at a picture of Jon...his hair hasn't been big in years. He could be BALD and they would still be talking about his "big" hair. Enough already!!! If you must pick on something, at least pick on something where you can make a valid point.
