Rocker JON BON JOVI performed a special charity concert in a New York nightclub last night (11JUL06), to repay a favour for American football star MICHAEL STRAHAN.
New York Giant Strahan agreed to help coach Bon Jovi's sons, so the singer felt it his duty to help the sportsman's Take The Field charity with a private gig at Tao club.
Bon Jovi says, "I'll tell you, it's really funny, we haven't played in a restaurant in 30 years.
"The last time we played in a restaurant, we got paid $150 (£270) - and we had to make it last three weeks."
