For Bon Jovi -- a multi-platinum rock band still going strong after its mid-'80s genesis -- one concert at Mellon Arena isn't enough, so Pittsburghers will get two in two weeks, starting Wednesday.
Fans can look forward to dazzling visual effects on the Lost Highway World Tour, which returns to Pittsburgh on March 15, say Bon Jovi band members, who spoke to the media via a teleconference.
"It's going to involve a lot of media and a lot of ... visuals," says David Bryan, keyboardist and vocalist. "So that's the surprise. We can't tell you too much, but there's pretty amazing screens, and the stage is just awesome. It's probably the best stage we've ever had."
Richie Sambora, guitarist and vocalist, says the visual effects will be a spectacle unlike any fans have seen before. "It looks like kind of a ... 'Holy Cow' moment," he says. "People are going to walk away ... going 'Wow, this is really cool.'"
