After playing the Sun in November, the guys made it back for a show before heading further south on the tour. Those of lucky to see them again were glad they did. They have an affinity for the place. Jon called it, "our favorite club" and said they "have a great time every time we play here. We'll see you again." This show was strong, but, that said, it wasn't as good as the November show. And, we got the reason for that late in the set when Jon reported that his doctor told him he thought they should cancel the show due to the strain on his vocal cords. Thankfully, he didn't take his advice! The show was great, don't get me wrong, but the real energy that we saw throughout the first show didn't come until after the acoustic set. And, the encore was fantastic. Everyday, Runaway, Bad Medicine and Wanted. Jon opened the show on a stage in back for Last Man Standing. And, he again moved in the crowd for Blaze of Glory and Bed of Roses. It was good to see a different set list than the first time, too. The guys rock and they work hard to put on a show even when they are not 100 percent, which they did here. And for that, there's no way you can be disappointed in this show.
