empty feeling
i'll start this by saying i am a big bon jovi fan and have seen them countless times, and i came away from these two shows very dissapointed. for starters, the set was the same each night, except for the encores. why go to both nights when you hear only 2 or 3 different songs each night? i guess that was because of vh1. the show seemed like it was lacking something. the stage and the fireworks were nice, but it seemed that every move made by the band was rehearsed. there was no originality, no spontaneous action at all. like the whole show was scripted. this was supposed to be a rock and roll show, not a kiddie pop show where everything is choreographed. also, does bon jovi really need to do covers live? they may be fun to play, but at 75 bucks a pop, i'd rather hear some of their hits. they have such a deep catalogue i dont understand why they bother with covers. i hope for the next tour they mix the set up when they do more than one night in the same arena, and do more of their own material.
