A Most Triumphant Night!
What a great night it was. I'm a big Bon Jovi fan and have been for a fair while now but this was the first time I had ever been to see them live. What a great time I picked to see them first time - not only that I did it in style with a VIP on-stage pass. Richie was in most excellent form, Tico's drums were like "Thunder", Hugh went "down to the roots" on his bass and David was just a cool dude. And as far as the man himself goes, he put on a great performance, great at aising the crowd and keeping that going throughout alot of the show. The only thing I was disappointed with was the fact they never played Always/ Bed Of Roses and to a certain extent the fact that the crowd perhaps could have been a little more lively during some of the songs - otherwise, a great show. The highlights of the night for me were..
1. Being on stage for The Distance/ It's My Life
2. The amazing electricity flowing around the ground during Raise Your Hands/ Bad Medicine(Shout) in particular was awesome.
3. Simply the fact that they played my favourite song - In These Arms very well.
4. The support band LIVE were better than anticipated - not by any means amazing but still provided us with a good performance.
5. Very pleased that they played The Distance for us - I wasnt expecting them to - and it is my favourite song off the Bounce album.
