AMAZING!!!
I've been a fan for years and, amazingly, I've never managed to see the band live. I am so glad I was able to experience this concert, it was truely awe-inspiring! I have been to a lot of concerts but this was the biggest so far and the atmosphere was just electric even from the moment those first screams started - I have never been a part of such a great concert atmosphere. The band clearly fed off this and were amazing - Richie's guitar playing made me melt, Jon's vocal performance and showmanship were undescribable and David, Tico and Hugh all excelled also. Being a sound engineer, the only gripe I had was that the mix was very poor - I know that it's hard to mix open-air events, especially larger ones, but there was much that could have been done to improve it. However, as my friend said to me at one point, "The mix isn't very good - but who cares!?"
From the moment the band came on stage until the moment they left the place was jumping. An unforgettable and happy evening and I can't wait to see them again. Thanks to Bon Jovi!
