26 June 2003 - Manchester, UK Concert Review |
|
I have followed Manchester United all my life, and been a fan of Bon Jovi for just about as long, so you can imagine Thursday night's gig at Old Trafford, was truly the concert of my dreams. The band were fantastic churning out classics which I have grew up with plus played lots up to date stuff from their previous two albums Bounce and crush, which reassure me that this band will be with me for some time to come yet. I think Jon, Tico, Ritchie, David and Hugh should fuck off the rest of the tour and stay with us at Old Trafford, after all, now a certain Mr Beckham's gone, we've got a nice number 7 shirt availible for you Jon!
My only quirm is this, I have just read that Jovi played the song "These Days" two days after this gig in Hyde park, why the fuck did'nt they play it for us? Jon and the lads if by any chance you read this, next time at your gig play at least on track from that fantastic yet under-rated album "These Days"!!! and remember London isnt the heart of England, Manchester is!
Anyway, cheers fellas for a fantastic night we are as loyal to you as you are to us, see you soon |
