24 March 2001 - Melbourne, Australia Concert Review |

Universal Appeal 2001
My first Bon Jovi concert, but surely not my last! Their performance was electric, beginning with hits from the latest album, Crush (One Wild Night & Captain Crash) and then pleasing the older fans with some of their timeless classics (living on a prayer, keep the faith, bad medicine, lay your hands on me, born to be my baby & wanted dead or alive). Later the crowd were really jumping with covers like Shout (Johnny O Keefe) and Twist & Shout (the Beatles). Bon Jovi were happy to be in Melbourne, supporting our flood victims, and it was a truly wonderful experience for the fans. With the assistance of local bands and Jimmy Barnes (who joined with John for a couple of songs during the encore) it was one unforgettable night! Thanks guys for your support and contribution!! ROCK ON
