BJ Rock Cardiff
Went along having not seen BJ since 88. Have to confess that going to see the new stadium being a rugby fan was also a major incentive to go. The show itself was as you would expect from a multi-million selling act. How old are the bandmembers these days. I thought to myself could BJ still deliver the goods live. From "one wild night" through till "Never say goodbye", the band delivered a performance of pure class. I watched the support bands and thought does'nt anybody just strap on a guitar and just play the mother anymore, the answer is definitely yes, Sambora was fantastic. The energy of JBJ's frontman leadership got the crowd going from the first song at 8.00, no mis-print a headline act on the stage at 8.00. Never have I seen that in 18 years of gigs and concerts. I am definitely back as a big fan of BJ after many years of listening to other bands. Do yourself a favour and just go see them, top show lads. See you next time around.
