And yeah Burning Bridges is fun. I only don't get why it got released when it clearly makes fun/bashes the record company which releases this record.
Sorry for the length, I needed to write it out of me
Even before I knew the background for this song, I loved the passion in his singing. And since I saw the interview (http://www.canada.com/entertainment/...697/story.html) where Jon explains that Teardrop to the Sea is the serious lyrical song about the record company breaking his heart, I understand it even more.

And yes, still puzzling that the label release Burning Bridges. Maybe like others have stated, the label thinks it's about Richie.

Has it been promoted at all. I knew nothing about it till I happened to check this forum a couple weeks ago. Though with the Vancouver concert fiasco being in the Canadian news, I might have read about it over the weekend.

That's it! Congratulations. No doubt Teardrop is new and about the big 'label crash'. First song, last song - that's symbolic.

Really? HD at 24 bit and 44kHz? Last Springsteen album I downloaded (that means bought - he sells his bootlegs these days) was 24 bit 192 kHz.

They do need a little more promotion behind this because I'm sure there are plenty of fans out there, maybe even diehards, that have no clue this album exists. People are busy with their real lives and don't have Bon Jovi shoved up their ass 24/7 like we do here...

They shake my hand Pat my back
They know my drink Welcome back
The life of the party Tears of a clown
Can't hear a heartbreak The music's too loud

The second verse creates a slow motion black&white scene in my head of Jon entering a room with the CEO's in order to discuss his/band's future.

Anyway, beautiful lyrics and real emotion from a band that I thought have lost it. But no, they can still create awesome music!

There are too many topics going on and people are posting shit everywhere and anywhere.

There are 4 different places to read reviews. This thread had a Vancouver link and discussion going on although the topic is about Burning Bridges. We need some order here. Or I'm just going to copy all my posts and paste them where they seem fit.

Nope, the files are exactly that - here is the description from Bruce's site.

HD Files are 24 bit / 192 kHz. Also available in DSD - a high resolution audio download format. For playback software
please see the FAQ
