Before you ask: No thanks, I'll pass. A proper tracklist would be very handy, though... let's just see how far away we are from it right now.

To avoid the festival send me a pm with you email if you are really interested. I will send the file then. But again it's Billy only. Not Bon Jovi. He recorded this one on 11th.

I don't have the tracklist. It just says in the email that Billy co-wrote 10 songs. They didn't mention the titles.

Again no, but thank you. I try to hold out this time only listening to official releases

I looked "our" tracklist up again, and there are exactly ten tracks Billy has co-written. So if your/Newikov's info is correct, we will most likely get: Born Again Tomorrow, Labor of Love, New Year's Day, Scars On This Guitar, The Devil's in the Temple, Real Love, Color Me In, Goodnight NY, Touch of Gray and of course THINFS plus 1 or 2 additional tracks. Sounds quite promising to me, title-wise.

I like Billy's writing, so this is good news.

Never got into Pretty Blue World at all, though. Did he do anything else on his own, and does it sound closer to the stuff he wrote with BJ?

Indeed!

He has plenty of own albums, but I only listened to some samples lately and what I heard was quite nice. Will give Billy's own albums a try sometime.

Try the last album "When". The songs "Fall to me", "When", "Boggy Key" are fantastic. Really.

What you are all calling a "vocal blob" to me at first sounded like Jon's voice breaking a bit when going high. Maybe the fact that the vocal track is different vocal tracks mixed in together creates that "blob". It does become very noticeable and now it gets on my nerves when listening to the song.... Maybe it's a minor jump in the vocal track, Shanks trying to change tracks withing the same note could produce that sound, maybe he liked the start of one take but the end of another....

I'm not sure, but I don't think what you're referring to is the aforementioned "vocal-blob" - there's a very faint voice in the background (not Jon singing). It's very low and brief sound that appears to be someone talking in the background - perhaps the producer, or engineer? (as previously postulated)

I noticed that "voice-break" when I initially listened to the song, and I kinda like it - which is weird I suppose! You can hear it in the orignial YT link, just after Jon sings "coming home". I'm pretty sure that that's not what Manbou is referring to, but please correct me Mabou if I'm wrong!!

Not exactly, but it seems there are a lot of strange things going on production-wise
