It states that Legendary is currently 14 on the adult contemporary chart. Even Story Of Love charted higher on this chart (13) with Limitless making no. 10 and Do What You Can 11. None of those were "hits". So I don't really see how Legendary is doing better than anything in the last 15 years?
All I know is that I have heard Legendary on the radio quite a bit. Easily the most since Make A Memory in 2007.

Forbes has a paid article on Bon jovi chart placement every day basically. It's obvious.

I'm not saying that Legendary is not getting any airplay, but it's not a hit by any stretch more than Story of Love or Rollercoaster or whatever

I have heard Legendary plenty on radio where I am too. Although, I am not sure how important it is. I have heard all kinds of random on the radio, including Saturday Night Gave Me Sunday Morning, Any Other Day and other WTF songs.

Where in the world are you? Any Other Day is interesting.

Here in the UK Legendary made a brief appearance on the BBC Radio 2 playlist but it's long gone now. They really need to be pushing another track to radio over here now.

The last song I remember getting any sort of airplay here before that was Born Again Tomorrow strangely. Born To Follow got a bit but nothing from Lost Highway or WAN made any dent in radio airplay here.

If one really wants to know how a song is being received spotify streams is the best indicator. Legendary has been crawling at a snails pace since shortly after it's release.

We Made It Look Easy being the next single would make sense to me here in Jon's delusion. I believe someone mentioned Jon had stated at a listening party the song would be a huge hit.

I think we all agree Bon Jovi will never have another hit like the old days. But I think a proper rock song à la Have A Nice Day while it wouldn't be a huge hit would gain more traction than a song like Legendary.

So many fans have turned their back on new Bon Jovi music over the last 15 years or so it would be a slog no doubt. But If you're not going to have a hit no matter what you release may as well release a rock song/album and start trying to win back the fanbase that has been eroded. With a proper rock album the general sentiment would be Bon Jovi is back and the next two albums or so Jon still wants to make could build on the momentum.

Yes, I agree. I was just interested to know if the single is actually picking up some decent radio play, because it's certainly not coverting to streams at all. which would be really unusual.

Lol, I don't think there will be another single before the albums release. Jon thinks it's a hit, and still is a hit. As long as he thinks that, I'm not sure we'll get another single.

I doubt Jon gets to decided that. The label will want another single before the album. Even if a song is it hit you still get 2 or 3 singles before an album is released these days. People generally won't buy an album on the strength of 1 single now, and once the album is out the label loses interest, so anything more than 1 more single after the release is unlikely. It's ALL about the first week sales. There will 100% be at least one more single before the album.
